Almost everyone is familiar with the Sunset book series about gardens, filled with vivid pictures and practical tips for plant enthusiasts and those who’d just want to experience having a green thumb. But rare are those books that are published about local gardens, especially those who go beyond pictures and feature worth while articles explaining the intricacies of the art.

In her first book, Home, Haven, Heaven, Dolly Perez talks about planning and building one’s dream house. In her second book Your Garden Your Eden, she discusses those various intricacies of setting up one’s dream garden at home.

Aside from featuring a selected portfolio of work done by various members of the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects, it takes the reader down the path to creating one’s eden- from proper conceptualization, planning and design, to choosing the right plants, up  to maintaining that vision of your outdoor paradise that is your garden.

Your Garden Your Eden is a celebration of the collective experiences and work of the author and the various contributors which made this book possible.
